  • About the Role:

    We are seeking highly skilled Mechanical Engineers with 2-5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. We have two available positions:

    1. Mechanical Engineer with Strong Knowledge of Fire-Fighting System Regulations

      • Must be approved by Kuwait Fire Force (KFF) at Grade 3 level.

    2. Mechanical Engineer with Strong Knowledge of Ventilation System Regulations

      • Must be approved by Kuwait Fire Force (KFF) at Grade 2 level.

    These roles will involve working on the design, implementation, and maintenance of fire-fighting and ventilation systems, ensuring compliance with local and international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

For Fire-Fighting System Engineer (Grade 3 Approval):

  • Design, develop, and oversee the installation of mechanical systems, particularly fire-fighting systems, ensuring compliance with KFF regulations and safety standards.

  • Prepare and review engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations for fire-fighting systems.

  • Collaborate with architects, project managers, and other engineers to ensure fire safety systems are integrated into the overall building design.

  • Perform technical inspections and audits of fire-fighting systems, ensuring they meet required codes and regulations.

  • Conduct system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting to ensure proper functionality and compliance.

  • Provide technical support to project teams during installation and commissioning phases.

  • Prepare reports and documentation related to system designs, modifications, and compliance.

  • Stay up to date with industry standards, fire regulations, and innovations in fire safety technology.

For Ventilation System Engineer (Grade 2 Approval):

  • Design, develop, and install ventilation systems in line with local codes and KFF regulations.

  • Prepare and review engineering drawings, specifications, and calculations for ventilation systems, ensuring optimal air quality and compliance with regulations.

  • Work closely with the design team to integrate ventilation systems effectively into building layouts.

  • Perform technical inspections, system testing, and commissioning to ensure the proper functionality of installed ventilation systems.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ventilation system operations.

  • Ensure that all ventilation systems are compliant with relevant KFF standards and local regulations.

  • Maintain documentation and reports on system designs, modifications, and testing procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

  • 2-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on either fire-fighting or ventilation systems.

  • KFF approval at Grade 3 (for fire-fighting) or Grade 2 (for ventilation) is a must.

  • Strong technical knowledge of fire-fighting or ventilation systems and related regulations.

  • Proficiency in relevant software (AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office, etc.).

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Fluency in English (Arabic proficiency is a plus).
