As a Sourcing Officer, you will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and developing reliable suppliers to ensure the company has access to the best products and services at competitive costs. The role involves managing RFQs and tendering processes, negotiating terms, overseeing contracts, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Supplier Identification & Evaluation
Research, identify, and qualify potential suppliers locally and internationally.
Assess suppliers’ capabilities, quality standards, and financial stability.
Request for Quotation (RFQ) & Tendering
Prepare and issue RFQs, collect bids, and manage tendering processes.
Compare quotations and provide recommendations based on cost, quality, and delivery.
Negotiation
Negotiate pricing, terms, and service levels to achieve cost savings and value for money.
Maintain strong supplier relationships while ensuring favorable conditions for the company.
Contract Management
Draft, review, and administer supplier contracts.
Monitor contract performance and address deviations or disputes.
Compliance & Documentation
Ensure sourcing activities comply with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.
Maintain accurate records of sourcing processes, contracts, and supplier performance.
3–5 years of sourcing or procurement experience.
Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills.
Knowledge of tendering and contract management processes.
Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
